DESCRIPTION: ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Looking to join the staff of a growing company in Basking Ridge, New Jersey?
ViaSource Funding Group, LLC is seeking a self-motivated individual to join its corporate team. ViaSource is a specialty finance and global hedge fund management firm purchasing life insurance policies for investment products distributed by securities firms in Europe and Asia. With over $900 million of bonds and mutual funds securitized by policies, ViaSource is slated for an additional $400 million of additional funds in 2010.
Position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for maintaining the general ledger for the company and its four subsidiaries, account reconciliations, note holder statements and financial statement preparation. Candidate should be hands on and have prior experience.
Candidate should be skilled in the use of excel and
modeling. This position will be asked to complete and prepare special projects
and financial analysis for company management. Candidate must also feel
comfortable working with staff, yet independent enough to handle projects as an
individual and as a member of a small team.
