Covidien is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Staff Accountant to join its newly created Accounting Policies & Research department. This position will report directly into the Vice President of Accounting Policies & Research and will be responsible for the evaluation of current and emerging accounting standards, creation of an Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual, writing consultation papers on complex technical accounting issues and global training initiatives. The candidate will have significant interaction with other corporate departments, Global Business Unit Controllers from around the world and our external auditors.
