DESCRIPTION:   Financial Analyst/Royalty-Licensing Analyst

We currently seek an experienced professional to join our Pleasanton, CA facility.

                                                      Financial Analyst/Royalty-Licensing Analyst 

In this lead role, the chosen candidate will be responsible for assessing, analyzing and paying the In-License obligations. Key functions will include preparing monthly/quarterly/semi-annual royalty statements to all third parties and ensure timely payment of all royalty contractual obligations. Involves serving as the primary contact person for all third-party royalty questions, interpreting new In-License contract terms and providing information during license negotiations as requested. Maintain royalty accounting functions including the monthly close process and preparation of royalty accrued expenses, in addition to preparing journal entries, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, and maintaining supporting detail as appropriate for royalty expense. Performs other duties as required. 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, along with 3-5 years experience. Must have the demonstrated ability to work on complex spreadsheets in Excel, coupled with the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and work in a very fast-paced environment.
