We currently have a career opportunity for a Consolidations Accountant located at our corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ.
In this position, you will assist in the preparation of Wyeth's Consolidated Financial Statements and become knowledgeable in Wyeth's divisional operations through analysis. Your specific responsibilities will include the following:
• Reviewing Monthly Hyperion Financials
• Recording Intercompany Dividend Elimination
• Calculating Minority Interest Liability
• Analyzing Intercompany Investment Elimination
• Analyzing Intercompany Profit Accounting
• Calculating Average Shares
• Maintaining and reviewing Consolidation Ledgers
• Maintaining and reviewing Unallocated Division
• Preparing Internal Financial Statement Package
• Analyzing Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts
• Preparing External Balance Sheet and P&L for quarterly reporting
• Providing support for SEC reporting
• Researching Consolidation and Accounting Issues
• Recording Journal Entries
• Assisting in Merger and Acquisition Accounting
• Assisting in special projects
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 2 years or related accounting experience. Big Four public accounting company experience and a CPA license are preferred. The successful candidate will be goal-/career-oriented and possess leadership skills as well as the ability to function as a member of a team. Expertise in Excel, Word and Hyperion Enterprise is also required.
