Director of Financial Reporting, Houston, TX
Triumph HealthCare seeks an experience candidate to direct all aspects of financial reporting to external parties, including lenders and other investors. Responsibilities for this position include:
Draft and implement appropriate policies and procedures for the Company and ensure adherence to such policies
Lead the Companys efforts in establishing an internal control environment to be compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley provisions
Manage various accounting and reporting projects as assigned
Extensive knowledge of GAAP is required; previous experience in SEC reporting is preferred. Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance provisions considered a plus. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels across the organization are essential; Project management skills are highly desired.
Candidates for the position of Director must be a CPA; an MBA is preferred. Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and other analytical applications is required; experience with Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and/or compliance is strongly preferred. Seven (7) years of experience required, with healthcare experience strongly preferred.
