DESCRIPTION:  Financial Manager – SASCO

We have an immediate need for a Financial Manager. This position will be located in Sacramento, CA and will report to the Chief Financial Manager. Applicants should have a strong general financial background and be substantially above average in natural intelligence. This person must want to learn and understand our methods, processes and terminology.  

Job Duties: 

·        Must be self-driven with ability to get things done RIGHT and hold others to high standards with low tolerance for failure.

·        This requires a big picture thinker who is creative and thinks outside the box.

·        Must appreciate and respect teamwork.

·        Assist in managing and investing individual, corporate and foundation assets.

·        Manage and monitor individual and foundation taxation.

·        Interface with outside professionals regarding legal and tax matters. 

Job Requirements: 

·        Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience with ability to work in a hands-on manner in a stressful environment.

·        BA/BS required, CPA desirable.

·        This person must understand that to succeed in this position it is imperative that they are a good listener and learner and have exceptional natural intelligence with the incurable desire to climb the ladder or already be there.

·        Strong corporate and individual taxation experience required.

·        Superior analytical and presentation skills in order to successfully present company and/or personal financial performance to a demanding audience.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to alter his or her priorities.

·        Extensive knowledge of corporate and foundation accounting and taxation policies.

·        Extensive skill in Microsoft Excel, Word and Quicken.

·        Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

·        Proven track record as a high level achiever
