Manager, Finance and Administration

We are looking for a seasoned professional to fill the position of Manager, Finance and Administration, based in Los Angeles. 

Responsibilities:

·        Helps achieve HKTB marketing objectives by assisting the Regional Director -The Americas in initiating, planning, implementing and coordinating financial programs to support HKTB policy.

·        Assists in financial goals and related services by: submitting, at appropriate time, accounting package to Head Office.

·        Ensures that all invoices and expense claims are accurate, valid and have proper authorization and comply with HKTB financial policies and procedures prior to payment.

·        Monitors account receivables for payments with follow-up for collection, if necessary.

·        Assists with preparation of annual budget and monitors budget accounts.

·        Maintains fixed assets register with periodic physical count.

·        Works with the Regional Director - The Americas and others to help identify HKTB staffing needs and coordinates any necessary recruitment and hiring activities.

·        Exercises responsibility for coordinating the HKTB-The Americas salary administration activities, group welfare and pension benefit programs; maintains all necessary records for the proper on-going administration of programs.

·        Effectively coordinates all HKTB-The Americas human resources programs, policies and procedures with the Human Resources Department of HKTB Head Office, to ensure consistency with applicable laws, that they are well understood by plan participants, and that they are competitive and cost effective. 

Requirements:

·        University Degree or equivalent in work experience with emphasis on business administration and finance.

·        8-10 years of proven financial/accounting and personnel administration experience with at least 2 of those years on a managerial level

·        Keen awareness of legal developments in the related area of work

·        Reliable & Honest

·        Ability to effectively promote and maintain good client relations

·        Good time management skill and work well under pressure and multi-task

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; knowledge in Chinese an advantage

·        Willingness to occasionally travel.
