DESCRIPTION: Senior Financial Analyst

We currently have an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Management and Budget Department.  In this position, you will perform analysis of Revenue and Expense budget submissions, monthly variance analysis reporting of Departmental Revenue and Expenses; prepare financial forecasts; identify and resolve budget issues; analyze overtime usage; provide dollar impacts and forecast of year-end variances; prepare financial analysis for Memoranda of Justification, Agenda Items for clarity, completeness and status of budgeted funding Contracts; and prepare net present value (NPV) calculations.    

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting or related field. A Master’s Degree is desirable. A minimum of 3 years experience conducting in depth financial/Budget analyses is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills are required.
