Job Description

You’re a team player with a collaborative style and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. You’ll play an integral role in providing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support to a dynamic clinical development organization, and providing leading program financial analyses for a rapidly growing biotechnology company. This position also involves strategic, financial, and business acumen; and information analysis to drive greater financial discipline and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

·Support leadership of departments, including clinical development, clinical operations, regulatory affairs and safety, clinical affairs, and biometry
·Lead the preparation and finalization of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts for these departments
·Develop, distribute and maintain reports and analyses summarizing  functional activity; direct financial modeling for programs in the clinical stage development; prepare NPV and ROI analyses; and work with other FP&A team members and departments to gather the necessary inputs
·Provide strategic, financial, and business advice, information and analysis that contributes to superior decision making by department managers and program leaders
·Assist the clinical development organization with clinical study tracking, and conversion from cash to accrual basis 

We’re looking for:

·A B.A. or B.S. required, M.B.A. preferred, with a minimum of 10 years’ finance or accounting experience. CPA a plus; knowledge of GAAP required
·Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
·Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries, and the clinical development process strongly preferred
·Collaborative style and approach, with strong attention to detail
·Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and Hyperion
·Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
