DESCRIPTION: Accounting Manager

At this time, Earth Tech seeks an Accounting Manager to be based in our Richmond, VA location.  

Primary Duties: 

•           Prepare and review month end financial reports

•           Review, evaluate, research and support technical accounting issues

•           Review and assist with internal control testing and documentation

•           Prepare monthly account reconciliations

•           Liaise with various other operations and accounting departments to ensure smooth and efficient processing of the sub-ledgers during month end close

•           Perform other complex accounting and financial ad-hoc projects as assigned by management 

Requirements:

•           A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

•           CPA or CPA candidate preferred

•           US GAAP proficiency

•           4-7 years of Finance/Accounting experience

•           Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

•           Past experience in public accounting and/or a professional service organization (e.g., engineering and consulting) is preferred

•           Motivated, detail-oriented and flexible. Must be able to work independently, and exercise good judgment.
