Sony Pictures Entertainment is a leading creator and distributor of entertainment products, services and technology. Our global operations encompass motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home video acquisitions and distribution, operation of studio facilities, development of new entertainment technologies and distribution of filmed entertainment in over 67 countries.

Duties Include:
* Responsibilities include financial and management analysis, flash reporting, ad hoc reporting and other operational finance activities as identified.
* Responsible for monthly Corporate reporting including profit/loss, cash flow, and balance sheet.
* Liaise with local territory staff.
* Monitor, review and analyze territory monthly financial packages and prepare required reconciliations and adjustments.
* Responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, monthly journal entries
* Variance analysis vs. budgets and forecasts.
* Assist Management with Corporate special requests.
* Work with IT to troubleshoot and resolve system problems.
* Assist in improving current departmental accounting procedures.
* Review, analyze and confirm inter-company balances.

Requirements:
* B.S. degree required preferably in Finance or Accounting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent project management, organizational, decision-making and problem solving skills.
* Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and meet all deadlines.
* Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting and financial policies and principles.
* Ability to operate effectively in a cross functional team environment.
* Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, experience with SAP preferred.
* A min. of 2 - 4 years work experience a plus (preferably in the entertainment industry/public accounting).
