DESCRIPTION: Manager, Finance, SPTI

Manager, Finance, SPTI:
Responsibilities and Duties:

This position is responsible for managing the monthly general ledger close;
maintaining an updated list of active/launched channels to ensure that the
new business ventures are incorporated into the monthly reporting process,
providing project support for various financial and operational initiatives
as directed by Management; and coordinating with Corporate finance in order
to resolve key reporting, technical and accounting issues.

* Supervise preparation of month-end close process including Hyperion
submission to Corporate, variance analysis, monthly management book,
balance sheet comparative, and other ad hoc reports and analyses.
* Provide management support to ensure month-end close is completed timely
and accurately
* Work with internal and external audit groups to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley
compliance
* Complete special projects for financial and operating management
* Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to improve
the quality of reporting, strengthen internal controls, and gain
efficiencies
* Monitor SPE-Inter-company activities and balances including research and
resolution of out-of-balance accounts and confirmation of monthly balances
* Provide internal/external reporting support to Corporate, Tax, Operations
and external auditors
* Supervise and develop a team of two senior financial analysts

Experience:
* Bachelors degree in accounting/finance required
* A minimum of 6 + years public and/or private accounting/finance
experience required
* Entertainment experience preferred
* Strong MS Office skills preferred
* SAP knowledge preferred
* CPA/MBA a plus

Skills:
* Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
* Strong accounting / GAAP knowledge
* Strong follow-through on all projects; ability to bring projects to
timely completion
* Detail-oriented; strong organizational, analytical and PC skills
* Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
