DESCRIPTION:  Director, Finance

 Sony Pictures Entertainment is a leading creator and distributor of entertainment products, services and
 technology. Our global operations encompass motion picture production and distribution, television programming and
 syndication, home video acquisitions and distribution, operation of studio facilities, development of new
 entertainment technologies and distribution of filmed entertainment in over 67 countries.

 Description:
 This position is accountable for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for
 SPE's International Home Entertainment consolidation group. This group consolidates and reports the results of
 SPE's non-US Home Entertainment operations, both owned and Licensed.

 Detailed Responsibilities

 • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the month-end accounting close for International Home Entertainment,
 including the timely consolidation of all non-US locations,
 • Provide all reporting for SPE Corporate on a monthly basis for consolidated International Home Entertainment
 • Provide both standard and ad hoc reporting/analysis of results for Senior and Operating Divisional management
 • Liaise with non-US based Finance Directors to facilitate global consolidation in compliance with US GAAP
 • Work with outside auditors during quarterly and annual reviews of results
 • Oversee documentation, testing and establishment of compensating Home Office controls and necessary remediation
 of SARBOX controls in the Home Office
 • Liaise with various IT support organizations in support of departmental objectives
 • Liaise with other divisional representatives in support of overall SPE strategy goals and objectives
 • Provide reporting to third parties and other internal groups as necessary.
 • Manage department team of approximately 5, including staff development, and coordinate with Licensing Accounting
 and Budget/Forecast groups in the Home Office

 Requirements / Skills

 • BS/BA degree with accounting/finance focus required
 • A minium of 8+ years public and/or private accounting experience required
 • CPA required
 • International consolidation strongly preferred, not required
 • Entertainment experience preferred, not required.
