Position Summary
The Manager, Finance Global Operations will support our Global Operations in developing and refining a cost model that measures Global Operations Spend. In addition, this position will ensure Cost Accounting practices and methodologies are common and consistent across all manufacturing sites.
Position Details
This position will develop operating mechanisms and processes to measure/track global inventory, productivity, capital base cost and operating expense. The selected candidate will lead annual strategic and operating plan preparation; identify and coordinate resolution of out-of-plan expense items; and ensure that cost accounting practices and methodologies are consistent across all manufacturing sites. Working with divisional finance, coordinate monthly reporting, budget analysis and metric review.
Education Requirements
B.A. in Business is required. M.B.A. is preferred.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of 7 years in operations finance/cost accounting is required. Prior experience in a leadership role as well as overseeing a global operations budget of more than $250M are necessary. The selected candidate must be an expert cost accountant familiar with current best practices in operations finance/cost accounting. Experience with international accounting operations in a multi-site environment is required. Effectiveness in this role requires a thorough working knowledge of accounting systems, policies and procedures and understanding of the organization’s structure and business objectives.
