FOR US – (Job Description)
Position Purpose:
Summary: Support, from an accounting and financial decision making perspectives, the execution of the strategy to build and operate a state of the art photomask manufacturing site in Boise, Idaho.
Operations: Build, in accordance with Photronics corporate policies, the financial and accounting practices that are needed to support this new facility. Analyze ongoing income statement, balance sheet and cash flow results of the operations. Interpret findings, report and act upon them in a meaningful way to facilitate progress toward the Company’s objectives. Advocate continuous improvement of processes and utilize best practice costing methods to drive profitability.
Decision Support: Perform financial modeling including benchmarking as needed to analyze optional outcomes to support strategic and tactical business choices.
Special Projects: Apply broad financial and information systems experience to deliver upon the objectives of the business. Prepare ad hoc evaluation tools as needed.
Be a positive supporting team member to all functional departments.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Build financial plans that accurately predict the financial results and needs of this new facility.
2. Maintain or develop tools that enhance the company’s ability to evaluate operational results. Assess alternatives and overall financial performance to suggest appropriate course of action. Support or lead operational and process improvement initiatives.
3. Work closely across all functions of the operation to facilitate a successful business.
4. Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases, Oracle and other operational systems to collect, report and act on data.
5. Build project accounting and tracking tools for use to control spending activities and to maximize returns on those investments. Utilize best practice costing methods to drive profitability.
6. Develop moderately complex financial reports for trending and results analysis. Provide timely and insightful P/L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
7. Maintain records for and protect the investment in the assets and resources of the business with the overriding goal of running a successful business.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA helpful
· Certified Management Accountant or Certified Public Accountant preferred
· 8-10 years experience in accounting and/or financial analysis, with emphasis in leading the financial function in a manufacturing environment with emphasis in cost accounting experience
· Entrepreneurial experiences with a start up operation a big plus
· Proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint as well as Oracle and various operations software
· Demonstrated leadership for continuous improvement of processes
· An appropriate sense of urgency as well as a desire for accuracy are critical
· Must possess an orientation toward building a successful business as well as demonstrated outstanding ethics and judgment.
· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
· Must excel in a team environment
