Company information:
UGN, a leading manufacturer of Acoustic interior Trim and Thermal Management Products for Japanese transplant manufacturers in North America, seeks a Corporate Controller to join our Finance Team. This position will be located in Tinley Park, a south suburb of Chicago.
Responsibilities:
Selected candidate will oversee the daily accounting operations and maintain the system of internal accounting controls that ensure the accuracy of accounting data and safeguard the Corporation's assets. Additional duties include monthly/quarterly/annual closes, coordination of annual audit and tax returns, and GAAP compliance.
Qualifications:
CPA certification, Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting and 10+ years accounting/financial management experience in addition to strong automotive supply industry and manufacturing systems knowledge required; MBA preferred. Background should also include experience with financial analysis and manufacturing cost standards and solid knowledge of GAAP-based accounting in a manufacturing environment. Effective oral/written communication skills are essential. Intermediate-level skills in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and a strong working knowledge of BPCS, Future 3 and FAMS are a must.
