We currently seek an experienced tax professional to join our corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ as an International Sr. Tax Analyst. Selected candidates support his/her assigned countries and will be responsible for 5471s, §78 gross-ups, year-end tax provisions, and quarterly financial reporting data.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Collaborate with international compliance and federal compliance staff to ensure compliance with all tax rules and regulations while minimizing the corporation's tax liability.
Interact with local finance and tax professionals in foreign countries.
Assist with U.S. tax audits as they relate to foreign issues (such as Foreign Tax Credits, 5471s etc.).
Prepare Forms 5471 and §78 gross ups for various Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs).
Assist with the IRS audit responses, FAS 109 analysis and calculations, and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls.
Accumulate support for §901 credits for current and previous tax years.
Analyze quarterly and year-end tax packages to ensure accuracy and FAS 109 compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS in Accounting (CPA and/or MBA/MS in taxation preferred)
3 - 5 years international tax experience in large corporation and/or large public accounting firm
Ability to work independently/effectively in a deadline-driven environment and make informed decisions
Excellent computer, communication and organizational skills
