We have an immediate career opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Manager
in our Recovery and Accounts Receivable department.
Responsibilities:
Manage billing and collection of claims based recovery from Health Plans, including
participation in identification of types of claims to be submitted and amounts collected,
reserves to be established on those amounts, and collection activities of unpaid amounts.
Supervise collection of claim overpayments from providers, including initial review of
claims identified for collection, and reporting of collection activity.
Oversee collection of reimbursement of claim amounts from third parties, including auto
insurance and workers compensation.
Establish a system to perform billing and collection of amounts due from providers
relating to EMR, office integration or other strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
College degree with 5-10 years experience in billing and collection, including at least
3 years in a management position, with a healthcare background strongly preferred.
Computer and systems competence in Excel and Access. Familiarity with Oracle and SQL is
preferred.
Strong financial background, ability to think logically and critically.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Detail oriented
, organized, ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain effective relationships with other departments, Health Plan
representatives, and providers.
