DESCRIPTION: Sr. Regulatory Accountant

FOLIOfn has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Regulatory Accountant to
join its Finance Department. We are a self-clearing online broker dealer
and portfolio management technology provider located in Tysons Corner. We
also have a subsidiary Proxy Governance, which provides proxy research,
advisory, and voting services. Our rapid growth presents significant
opportunity for a Senior Accountant to contribute to our success.
Additionally, we offer a collaborative work environment of top professionals
in brokerage, finance, and technology. This position reports to the VP
Finance.

The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include the following:

· Analysis, research and preparation of monthly/annual regulatory filings,
net capital computation and available cash calculations for the
broker-dealer operations
· Strategic analysis of operating costs, products, and customer segment
profitability
· Assist with periodic budget and cash flow projects
· Assisting the VP Finance with month-end closing including responsibilities
for reconciling and recording activity for cash, A/R, prepaid assets, fixed
assets, A/P, deferred liabilities, accruals and intercompany allocations
· Analysis of sales on a quarterly basis and calculation of quarterly
commissions
· Special ad hoc projects and various corporate administrative
responsibilities as needed

The successful candidate will be a very detail-oriented accounting
professional. He/She should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or
accounting. A CPA is required.
A Series 27 license (FINOP) is preferred.
