This position primarily supports the West Coast Finance’s financial reporting functions for HBO Independent Productions.  Responsibilities include preparing monthly close packets, P&L and cash forecasts, maintaining ultimates, analyzing network participation/distribution statements, deal analysis, and completing ad hoc projects involving financial analysis and modeling.  Other duties include development/accounts receivable reporting, journal entries, and assisting in preparation of annual budgets.   Position requires interaction with HIP Operating Group/Business Affairs. 

CPA required.  BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, and a minimum of 2 years of accounting or analyst experience preferred.  Experience with ultimates desired.  Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and have a strong understanding of systems.  Must be enthusiastic, creative, and analytical.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
