We have an immediate opening for a qualified, self-motivated Compliance Analyst to join our Financial Analysis team at our corporate headquarters in Norwalk, CT.  In this position, you’ll provide a monthly analysis of subsidiary performance and related balance sheet accounts.  We’re seeking candidates with a strong attention to detail and desire to learn.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Compliance, including creating and maintaining SOX documentation, test plan development and execution, and assisting with process and control remediation
• Preparing supporting analysis for SEC reporting
• Acting as liaison with external auditors
• Special projects, including due diligence, integration of acquisitions, etc.
  Willingness to travel (approximately 25%)

 Qualified candidates will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA helpful
• 3 years of audit experience at a Big 4/second tier firm, private or public company
• Solid understanding of GAAP and its application
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of financial statements; familiarity with ratios helpful
• Construction industry experience a plus
• PC/Excel skills; experience with Hyperion Enterprise reporting/consolidations and planning software helpful
• Persuasive written/verbal communication and excellent organizational skills
