Responsibilities:

55% - Reporting to the Manager, Pension Benefits, responsible for documentation, reconciliation and the financial controls within the Benefits and Retirement organization. Tasks may include compliance to financial reporting requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley, and government and internal audits, including auditor interface. Recommends and performs corrective actions related to process controls and tracking.

35% - Evaluation of, implementation, and maintenance of future Pension and Benefits system applications.

10% - Forecast, analyze, and evaluate Benefit department budgets and costs to ensure appropriate disclosure of financial and business results and to ensure the appropriate allocation of expense to Pension Plan.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance. Preference for MBA/CPA; Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation; or Pension benefits experience. Requires at least 6 years of combined experience in finance, accounting, and systems development. Hands on experience associated with the preparation and documentation of financial statements, account reconciliations, and monthly reports. Proficient in system application evaluation, implementation, development and maintenance. Pension benefits financial control experience a plus.
